Anything by James Michener. All great. But ya probably won't learn a thing about reloading

Read them all. Status of steel is good and another one ill have to check later. No such thing as too much knowledge.

I know but I don't want to read one that is just confusing or false.

I have Status of Steel and I question much of what is written there. However, there is also much to be learned there. It would be my last choice if I was purchasing books/manuals for steel reloading.

I highly recommend the VIII Edition of RSI's Steel Reloading Handbook:

http://www.reloadingspecialtiesinc.com/Reloading_Specialties_Inc/Reloading_Specialties.html

I also highly recommend Lightning Steel 2nd Edition. It is available from Precision Reloading:

http://www.precisionreloading.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Store_code=PRE&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=BKLS2

Also, here is a very good tutorial on the basics of steel reloading:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:jhk8-wv2Rf4J:www.nodakoutdoors.com/media/reloading.pdf+&hl=en&gl=us&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEEShe8RqcneoBHV3AFeDuMghOuiyCSOokA1cB_0qSnN5I2rcK_GTXWeikFdkhSO6Um6ck_oYUXNrAraxWHeZ9LkUTkfq5-psN7W_s8Xm8QtfSVBNre9UuAGhcBytRJJGHNYHnDze9&sig=AHIEtbTqitHfKgfXNEEB7cET4qdaftGInA

Reloading for shotgunners. RSI, Status of Steel, Lyman's.

I learned 90% of what I know on Internet forums, though.

And thanks guys I'll check into those.
Anybody know of any tables that shows the ballistics of steel shot sizes at different velocities?
