Wad id

Postby rickman » Sat May 04, 2013 12:22 pm

I have been given 500 10GA wads, they are Multi Metals or TPS wads. I know they are more or less the same wad, but have no wads of these types to compare them to. What are the differences in the MMs and TPS wads so i can accurately ID them. Ricky.

Tps wads are a tougher but more flexible plastic. Colors in them are all over the place and not a good indicator. I don't have experience with the ten but the 12's bpi told me I can interchange the recipes

These are quite supple so i am guessing TPS from what you say, i have been loading RSI 10 wads exclusively for a few years now but 500 wads is a significant number so i will try a few loads with them.

In the 12 they make for real nice loads up to 1450 ish, I don't have a ton of patterning experience with them though.
