Sow hats your powder of choice for shotshell???

My personal is Solo 1000 in target loads, and Herco. Man have I made some wicked 20 gauge loads out of those.

Hodgdon International for dove, quail, etc. Longshot for bigger upland birds and a few steel loads. Blue Dot for turkey loads, and STEEL for waterfowl.

Pheasant: 4
Quail: 2
Prairie Chicken: 4
Dove: 168

I guess the stuff I just bought was $15/lb. but I had to get it shipped so the hazmat bumped it up.

You guys pay way to much for powder! I get Solo 1000 at $8 to a pound, and Herco at $16 to a pound.
