They don't have shit for powder right now do they? Is it still impossible to find powder? I haven't looked since last summer.

How is their steel shot? I've been getting coated shot from precision but if shipping is 5.99 that's a huge savings. Just don't want to buy 50lbs and have it rust up.

Their steel shot is good, never any problems. Can spend $1 more and get zinc coated I believe. Powder is near impossible to find.

I couldn't find the coated anywhere on their site. I'll check a little harder.
I'm down to a lb of steel powder left which is what I've been using for all my loads.

That's more than I have left. BPI steel shot is good as any others. If I can't find any more powder I'll be using Longshot and 800X next year.

I don't really want to order all my shit for making my loads for steel powder if I can't find it.
Maybe I'll just order shot tomorrow and call it good until I can find powder.

I might be also, plenty of good loads out there though. Have shot a lot of good duck loads with Longshot.

Yup. It's kinda fun messing with it anyway. What are other good steel powders to get if I can't find STEEL. Longshot and what else?

I'll prob go with Longshot for duck loads, and Blue Dot for goose loads. Have seen some good loads using Herco, hs-6, and hs-7 also.

Alright...Thanks. I got to buy something, so whatever I can get my hands on that will make a steel load I'll pick it up.

Should be good with the wads you have using Blue Dot and Longshot. Heard good things of 4756, never loaded it.

Get it while you can, any SR powder or PB. IMR plans on discontinuing it at the end of this year.

I was flipping through the status of steel loads and saw several loads used the CSD wads. Figured I'd pick some of those up while I was at it.

Have killed a lot of ducks with csd100 and longshot, but IMO the mg42 is a better option. It also makes some killer lead loads.

Cool. I'm sure I'll have some more questions for you when I'm working with some loads this summer.
Is there anywhere to get long shot or any powder for that matter right now? Or is it all nonexistent?

Lucky you. As long as I can get H4831, H1000, H4350, Retumbo, IMR 4350, and IMR 4064, I'm fine with that but would really like some Blue Dot, RL-22, RL-19, and 2400.

Did you try? Most of the time it means lead shot not included, should work with steel.
