Lead pistol bullets

Anyone load them? I got a hell of a deal on 1000 rds of 230gr RN. They are made by Missouri bullet company an are pre-lubed. My question is, do I need to do anything special while shooting them? Clean the barrel after so many rounds or any shit like that? I loaded about 30 while working the load up, but only thought about leading after I had the load where it needed to be. They are getting slung out of a 1911 with a 1/16 twist ( I'm pretty sure)

I have loaded hundreds of them.
Clean your barrel after every shooting session. I have not had any problems.

Whatever you do, don't shoot lead only bullets in a Glock with a factory barrel (Polygonal Rifled), you'll turn that sucker into a hand grenade after so many shots. It's fine if you shoot a small handful and clean it but you don't want to be shooting oh so many.

I have heard that an that is the biggest reason I went with a sig for my latest purchase

Sigs are cool, I just wish the frames sat lower in the hand.

A high axis for sure. I can't wait to see how it shoots. I still need to get 9mm dies and small primers so I can shoot it plenty. I am hoping to spend the same per round as what I can in 45.

Do you ever read someone else's posts before you answer? You did see that he was talking about a 1911'style gun, right?

Nope, didn't see it once. Jeez, just giving him a reminder. Take it easy.

Shot some up this weekend an am really liking this combo. Really clean burning. And best of all, cheap! I have 1000 rounds worth for $ 0.13 a round. That's cheaper than 22 right now!

Now I just need to find how to make 9mm that cheap. I don't think I will find that good of deal on bullets.

What powder are you running? If you want a light popping load that's easy on the ears and hands, try 3.3 grs of VihtaVuori N310.

Buy it while you can. IMR is discontinuing it at the end of the year. All 3 or 4 SR powders and PB.

It's a good thing I only bought a pound of that powder. I finally shot some paper this weekend and the results were piss poor. I am talking 3 or more inch spreads at 10 yards! Even my bunny fart loads are more accurate. I just hope like hell it's the powder, not the boolits I bought....

Try a different charge? Might be all it takes.

That was 3 different charges. Bottom middle and top of the recommended. Good news is they fed great!

Back the paper up to 120 yards. Probably be a sub-MOA round.

Ah...that happens sometimes. Pistol powder here is starting to get really hard to find. Primers to for pistols. We did get a whole bunch of Alliant powder. I haven't seen any in over a year. Picked up a 5 pound keg of RL-22 and bought a pound of the new RL-17. Have yet to try it but if I like it, There's 4-5 pound keggars of RL-17 for $95/keg.

Powder is tough right now but primers are coming back. In fact, that's the only reason I tried 7625. It was on the shelf. Hopefully I can find some hp38 or maybe red dot before long.

Primers are easy to get here. Been that way since Sandy Hook. Pistol powder and bullets are killing most people. Other than Berger, Nosler, and Barnes; you can't hardly get any Sierra's or any of the good Hornady bullets (RN Interlock, A-Maxs, Interbonds), just the cheap interlocks. Doesn't bother me too much though. I shoot mainly Bergers, the 200 AccuBond in the 8mm Remington, and Sierra's in the .223 and VarmintGrenades or Speer TNTs in the .222.
