WTB mutt hutt

Postby 3legged_lab » Sun Jun 17, 2012 3:59 pm

There are a few times per season where I could use a a mutt hutt or some other type of dog blind. I keep watching the local want ads but no luck yet. Let me know if you got one you dont use anymore.

Thanks I had not seen that one before. I'm always hoping to spend less, but that sale price they got going on it is pretty good. I'll check it out some more later.

I hunt my dog out of the mutthut, the original. The Mutthut2 is a higher profile. You'll be lucky to fine the original, I don't think they make them anymore.
GHG/Avery has one similar with a fairly low profile. That's what you really want to look at when buy a blind for your dog for field hunts. If his blind is higher than your's is , it will stick out like a sore thumb.

I was pretty happy with putting the dog behind my head this last late season.

Yep, but you don't have a 100# dog either.
I think it's risky putting the dog in a layout when everyone is on the ground. If you are by yourself, that's different.

Not yet. The idea kind of fizzled on me. Do you have a line on one?
