I've had the FZ100 and FZ150 "super zooms," the later of which most felt had better image quality then the 200s. Know nothing of the 300s. Both of my FZs have croaked, and my camera repair shop experience (Panasonic and Canon only) has been that repair estimates come in right at replacement cost for new through a wholesaler. But the bottom line, for me, is that the FZs are big enough to be a nuisance I seldom wanted to bother with.

I've been better served by Panasonic's little ZS-series "travel zooms" carried in a belt case that goes unnoticed until I need them. Most of the pics in my logs below were taken with a ZS50. Nothing market worthy, just nice keepsakes - which will be the case with most all such small sensor cameras.
