Bite its head off then piss on it. Only way to kill them.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

I have killed a half dozen of them so far but one has yet to take hold yet.

Got 2 off myself this weekend. Both were still wandering around. Pulled 9 off the dog so far and 3 were pumping. She's getting a bath tonight so we can find any more.

If they aren't attached I smash them with my knife but if they are, I strike a match, blow it out, and stick it to em. Works every time.

Usually when I make the jump to hyperspace after finding one, they just fall off. Failing that, a permethrin bath does the trick.

Plucked one off the little jack the other day, which is surprising considering we have still been getting snow. Dogs getting a bath and frontline tonight

At least it'd be quicker than the Rocky Mountain Spotted Lyme Disease which was sure to ensue otherwise.
