We have 5 guys as well, and I've given them two tries. Great fries, average burger, outrageous prices.

We have some great little custard stand / burger joints around here. Your dollar gets you a lot more in those places.
qdoba...great? Who are you?

Nothing like a butter burger and a cup of butter pecan custard to chase it with.

I miss cheese curds. They're nowhere to be found here.

Which reminds me, when I pick up my pup, I should fill a cooler with them. Anybody know if they freeze ok?

Not sure after they are cooked. You should try to work a deal with the kid at the counter to buy a bad from their freezer.

Heck, I was just going to stop at a Cub Foods or something and buy all the bags they had. I was talking about freezing them "raw", though, but I don't know how well that would work.

Shouldn't need to. Cheese stays good for months in the fridge. And if it takes you more time than that to eat them, you're doing something wrong.

i make coffee that i'm pretty sure gave a friend a heart attack once, it's strong. it usually can stand a metal spoon on end.

when i camp, i bring a couple cans of soup and eat them the first night. then in the morning, i throw a few scoops of grounds in the can and mix with cold water, then i set it on the edge of the fire. let it come to a boil, some grounds may pop out of the can at this point. pull off the fire and stir, then take a (freshly) used egg shell and drop it in to sink the grounds. let sit 5 minutes then pull the shell and drink.

There it is right there. Got one in the shop. I think the pot's still got coffee in it from a couple days ago...probably still good. Make it today, drink it until it's gone. Got a microwave up there too...what more could I possibly need?

This is the best coffee maker we ever bought.
Makes it hot as possible without burning.

Switched back to hot tea. Gourmet coffee gives me heartburn.
That coconut mocha made me sick.
