Didn't read any posts besides the first but my dream vehicle would be a maintenance free truck for ten years. Don't care about brand or looks. Could be a rust bucket. Promise its 100% reliable for 10 years...that's the truck i want.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

I owned this truck a few years ago. Bought it for $800 off a guy that was transferring and sold it within 4 months for $1500. I think about this truck all the time, it wasn't the best looking truck and I had to rebuild the carb but I really had a good time driving it around. I wish I had never sold it.

That's a truck you could've kept for 20 years, had you been settled down at the time.

That looks very similar to my first truck, '78 ford. It said f-150 on the fender badge, but the hood ornament said 'explorer' and and I think the badge on the dash said 'ranger'.

It wasn't in THAT good of shape. Not a straight panel on the whole truck and they bed had some serious rust spots. Like I said it wasn't a great truck but was fun to drive around.
