The spanish eat that shit all the time. They make purées with them. My mother in law makes a garbanzo bean puree for my girls with a bunch of other crap in there. They also make garbanzo purée for adults too. I've made it with other beans and it is very good. I tried it with dried garbanzos once. It turned out terrible. My mil neglected to tell me you have to peel the skins from each and every bean. F that! I'll use cannelloni beans instead.
