I must live in the heart of their wintering grounds b/c those fuckers are everywhere here come october. I take out close to, if not over, a 1000 of em every year with gill nets. I've had some nets where I quit counting at 200 and there were about that many more in the rest of the net.

Those fuckers are mean too. I run across a few that haven't drowned yet every year. If you don't kill it before trying to untangle it, they'll bite the shit out you and hard too.

If one comes by me during duck season it's gonna get a load of steel heading its way.

You must not see them as thick up there as they are down here. One morning they were coming by in waves of over 100 for an hour solid.

Same here, if I shot at the ones that flew over I'd go through 3-5 cases per day.

That happened to be a slow morning for the ducks so some water turkeys were hurt in the making of the hunt.

See maybe a half dozen a trip. Usually over 100yards away though.

Once they cross the MI border they are way too unpredictable to see on a regular basis.
