Wildfowl Magazine

Postby Deltaman » Mon Nov 18, 2013 11:02 am

Anybody else get this? I signed up for a subscription last year, and it is the only magazine I've ever seen that is totally duck and goose hunting. Here's a link if anybody wants to check it out

May have to cut and paste in your browser to see, but as many hard core waterfowl hunters as we have on this forum, it's worth checking out if you haven't seen it.

I got one in the mail randomly the other day. Seems like a decent rag.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I had a subscription. I'll probably buy it again if I can get it on sale.

Seems like they put more ads, and less articles in every month...

Are the scouting reports timely and accurate? :)

I got a years subscription for Christmas about ten years ago and still look through them regularly. I never see them around anymore and assumed they didn't print it anymore.

Do you get a "Red Rider" BB gun if you sell 16 subscriptions?

Another one I get randomly and liked was Waterfowl and Retriever. It's worth a look in my opinion.

I had a subscription for years, and it began to feel like they were just recycling articles. I can only read "7 hot tips for late season mallards" so many times.

They used to have great articles on different destinations, and I got a lot of ideas for different trips, but then it turned into a giant ad for the gear manufacturers and so I let the script expire.

Nailed it! I had a subscription to that magazine for years. Nowadays it seems like nothing but advertisements for T.V shows and hunting Gear. I gave up on it and never re upped.
