On Saturday it was sunny n windy, perfect. We had mallards lock up and simply drop straight down into the decoys. Old Kirby was shooting them from 20 FEET away. They kept landing right where I planned...epic.

The season starts back up in FIVE days. Am at home. I plan on staying here til Christmas but if weather gets right, I'm gone.

The bad news...
Bayou Deview lost it's water, ducks gone. :mad:
Big Lake has a levee problem and won't hold water like it should.
So I'm hunting Black River, Cache, and maybe the White River...WMA's that are near those rivers too.
