Just because it has 6 batteries doesn't mean it's 9 volts

if it has 6 AA's, each AA is 1.5 volts, battery trays run batteries in series therefore 9 volts total.

battery trays can run in series, parallel or both

I'm with Assa. If you don't run the 6V completely before charging it'll go bad and won't hold a charge. Same with rechargeable flash/spot lights.

I'd go with the 6v, in my experience the AA baby mojos struggled in windy conditions. Depending on how you hunt they could work just fine, but i wouldn't recommend them for field hunting

Don't know if you are still looking into this but don't get the baby ones. The AA ones are shit. The batteries hardly last at all with them. The 6V ones are worth the extra money IMO.

by the twinpack and get you some plain mojo 4.5(6v4.5ah/20hr) and get on with your hunting been useing 4 set up this way all last year + this one never a problem
