Having been (in my past life in California) a logger and a Christmas Tree harvester (wholesale and retail) I am a 100% genuine made in China plastic, pre lit fake Christmas tree kind of guy .

If I can't have a good Red Fir (silvertip) fuck it. I would rather have plastic than some second rate pos from a tree farm or some Charlie Brown stick with lights. Best trees I've ever harvested came from around Lake Tahoe and Bucks Lake in Plumas County.

Now, that said, our fake tree has been in the attic for the past two years and probably going to stay there this year too.

Around here they even decorate palm trees for Christmas.
