I'd like to all of us do an experiment and compare. It'd be fun plus...
I been trying to Google the heat output of a candle. All I find is a "candela" which is a measure of luminosity.

So let's each get an aluminum pie pan like a pot pie comes in, a candle, and some ice cold water. Not ice but 32 degree water. Styrofoam cup would be good for making it.

The idea is to boil ten grams of water and measure how long it takes with a candle.
I can calculate how much energy it takes, then we can derive how much heat a candle makes roughly.
My guess is 500 btu or 150 watts or 150 joules per second
I bet that's way high...

This heater is 1500 watts or a little over 5000 btu.

But yet you'll never boil water with that heater. Hmmmm.......

When Olly starts posting ´weed smoking´ threads we´re in trouble.

I bet I can get boiling water from this space heater before you can turn one into a welder...lol.
