I do have a soft spot in my heart for a whiff of gun powder at first light and oddly enough around closing hours too.

The smell of Hoppes #9 solvent is a powerful memory in my head.
That and the smell of the powder but in the excitement and fury...I fail TO EVEN NOTICE.
