Anybody use em as duck dogs.thinkin about getting one but not sure.if so it'll be a dual purpose dog for fowl and woodcock

Can be very good retrievers, good choice for your area. I would choose a NAVHDA bred litter.

From what I've seen, I'd much rather work a retriever as a flushing dog for woodcock than a GSP as a waterfowl dog.

My family had them for years. Before we made the change to labs. They are Awesome for Duck and pheasant hunting. If you get one you'll find out their personality is hard to beat. Ive been thinking about get one for awhile now.
Who really runs the prison? The inmates or the guards?

Mine had a number of retrieves but doesn't do well when it gets real cold
