I'm going to try bleach tomorrow. The bright side is that my traps are damn near perfect now. Even when the wax starts to wear off next season, they've now been heat-treated with skunk essence. Twice.

I've seen what baking soda and peroxide does in a 5 gallon bucket. No way I'm putting that in a dishwasher. Nice try, though

I mixed it in a bucket to de-stink a skunk hide. Put a bottle of peroxide and a 1/4 cup of baking soda in it. It was maybe 3/4" deep in the bottom. And in about 30 minutes, it was foaming out the top.

My peroxide is old and so is the baking soda. No wonder mine just sat there.
