A maroon one.
I suppose you're gonna say Maroon paint is donating money to HSUS now.

My point is that most places you buy from support things you disagree with, yet you still go there.

I got your point about 4 posts ago sir. You explained it quite well.
What you're saying is that in order to truly not support companies that support things we don't like...you gotta shoot yourself in the face.

Corporate America is so tightly woven and interlaced we can't possibly not support HSUS and that we should just go with the flow.
I get it. We get it. Now do something about it lawyer man.

YOU have the power, use it. Take some risks for the greater good of society.
File a suit or something.
I'll give you the filing fee.

We do give a fuck and are somewhat helpless to do much about it.

The only power we have is in our wallets and the buying choices we make.
Us lower life forms need to band together and start boycotting corporate ANYTHING.
That's the only real way that we can flex our muscle and affect change. (effect?) I get that mixed up and am pretty sure affect is a verb. :)

The power we wield is enormous if we'd just use it.

That's very logical there Beef.

The point is that of a company chooses to support gay rights, they have issues with homophobes really quick.
If Phil Robertson says "God don't like gay people" it's a problem as well.

Why should it be any different when hunters want to boycott companies that support anti-hunting groups?
We really need to all join hands and sing kumbayah in front of Chilli's, (wearing camo) get on the news, and make some change happen.

That's what is NOT happening and it is disgusting.

Meet me at Chili's at 1905 North Prospect in Champaign, Illinois and we'll protest their supporting HSUS.
I'll even apply for the permits and call WCIA News to get some proffesional cameras there.

Pick a day.

Just sent Chili's corporate this message.

I won't go to this establishment because they donate money to an anti-hunting group. Am a hunter and currently am working on arrangements to protest with a large group of hunters. There is some time left to avoid this and I suggest Chili's make a statement to the press that they will no longer support HSUS.

Cut and paste this letter and email it to Chili's.

This is how to affect change. 1000's of emails would certainly be a start.

Remember "Pepsi Throwback"?

It was MY IDEA. Emailed Pepsi corporate and explained that I had been drinking Coca-cola for years and had discovered that most soft drink companies sweeten with high fructose corn syrup. I told them that the first soft drink company to start making a soda sweetened with straight sugar that I'd buy it. (I lied)

Well, they bought it and within a few weeks, month or two, they had the new "throwback" versions of their drinks.

Topic locked. We have two threads going on the same topic. Refer to the "Humane Society" thread for further discussion about supporting anti hunters whom own a hunting website.
