The slough is a legendary duck hunting marsh that only airboats and mudboats can get into. Its arguably some of the best hunting in the Central Flyway. If anyone is bored google earth Port Mansfield, Texas and look at the marsh South of Port Mansfield and North of the Arroyo Colorado. There are millions and I'm not exagerating millions of ducks that winter there. And the Nilgai antelope and wild hogs sometimes show up so its a good idea to bring a rifle along just in case.
