If our forecast holds we will not freeze out until mid December. We are normally seeing ice now. We are usually among the first to freeze, so that is not good. There are not even a lot of forecast lows below freezing between now and mid December. High's in the 50's and 60's next week, and 40's and 50's well into December. Although, we do have some wind. Damn. Gusting into the 40's and maybe 50's.

I'm hoping we do get winter underway, but it's not looking too good right now.

The forecast for some time has had El nino as a big player this year. Warm in the north, and wet and colder in the south. Seems to be on target, so far.
