Flooding here in Mobile, AL this morning. LOTS of rain overnight.

No offence but this storm is hammering Arkansas and Tennessee which is good for me. The place I hunt at depends on having one of these late-december storms to fill the WMA up with water. VOO COO WATER!
Weird system that taps water from the Mississippi River near Sikeston, Missouri. Channels the water thru a series of 5 really big ditches called "the pipes" to Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
Olly, remember the pics of my camp that's right next to the road??? that place is gonna be epic soon.

Dammit man, we got a lot of rain in a short amount of time this morning around 6:30 a.m. I live in a very high area in Mobile, but the streets completely flooded, and damn if i didn't get 3" of water in the garage......ugh!

I'm on high ground too and I looked out the window at 0620 this morning and saw two trash cans floating down the hill.

Yeah, the sun heats up the air and adds steam then brews up another storm sometimes.
Weird weather acting like spring or summer storms.
I'm hoping the water is deep when I get where I'm going next week.
