Big Bucks

I don't get the newspaper because I use a new-fangled contraption called the "interwebz", but my grandpa saved this one and sent it over to me. It was allegedly taken here locally in 1920. Some really nice muleys.

The picture of the picture didnt come out that great, but the third one from the right has got to be pushing 30" wide and the one in the middle is a ball-dragger.

a buddy of mine at work drew the late muzzleloader tag on our east side near susanville. Last week, within an hour of the first day of his long anticipated hunt he had a 30" mulie down. He stayed for 3 more days and just scouted to make sure he made the right call on shooting the first big buck he saw. Said he didn't see anything bigger than 24". He made a good call

Reminds me of my wife, who will keep "shopping" for the same item she already bought, just to see if she got a good deal. I've never understood this.

Sweet pic, I wish I lived back when game was abundant like that. Thanks for sharing.

However, that picture looks like it was taken in the middle of a junkyard.

If there is a whitetail in there it debunks the newspapers theory that the pic in question was taken around here. My guess would be a 3 point that looks 'iffy' because of the angle of his head.

Not a whitetail, the mickey mouse ear gives him away. Lots of real nice bucks in that photo!

That picture with the ducks kinda reminds me of some if the pictures in some of the local hunting books with story's from way back when.
