Snow goose hunt

Postby IndianaMallard64 » Mon Jan 25, 2016 7:56 pm

Hello gentleman,

I know this may be too late. The season has been over for a while up north and I have the bug to shoot at some birds. Does anybody have any leads on spring snow goose guides? I figure it doesn't hurt to call and try to tag along with a party that is already going or see if they can fit me in anywhere.

Thanks guys

The outfitter that I know that does snow goose hunts books groups. Not just one guy. I supppose it is possible that one guy would cancel and you could get shoehorned into a group but not likely.
Try Kenny McNeal at Bayou Bottoms.

This is who I've gone with quite a few times. He's always been very flexible when weather screws things up which it often does. I've been very happy with his guides and they do a good job. The only problem I think most people have is their expectations are too high. Sure there are those days where they pile them up, but snows are hard hunted birds that have seen it all. They don't just come piling into the decoys on most days.
