Ran into a brick wall so figured I'd ask the WFF brain trust.
I go to a bar but not often. Why? Because I want a draft Budweiser. Now days I can't seem to find a local bar that serves Bud draft despite this town having several hundred taverns.
WTF?

Why sell a bud light for $2 when you can sell a micro-brewed extra super special craft beer for $8? You don't have to sell very many of those to make more than selling a whole keg's worth of bud light.

Well I guess I need to take about 14 people to a bar and let them all order but we're ordering together on one tab.
Let them all get what they want but wait...I'm ordering a Bud Draft. You don't have that?
Make that noise where you suck air between tightly clenched teeth and announce very loudly, "since you don't sell Bud Draft we're all going somewhere else...maybe my fucking garage".

Maybe spinner is right so I need to stay the fuck out of bars. I ain't got 8 dollars for a fucking glass of shitty beer named flat bass, blue dog, green cat, rainbow nightmare, or whatever. I sure as fuck don't want to sit at a bar with skinny-pants wearing man-bun having betas anyway. This town is full of them.

If I had to guess, likely that the hip crowd wants the craft/local beers on tap these days, which I see a ton of demand for around here. Usually don't see much Bud Lite, or any Bud products for that matter on tap lately.

Oh the irony. Every bar in town serves Bud Light on tap. (serious)
So why not Bud?

Guess maybe the bars don't want to sell Belgian beer (since Bud is no longer American) but they will sell Belgian light.
The answer to my question is "because corporate said".
Probably not gonna get a satisfactory answer that makes sense.

Got thinkin' about how many liquor licenses this city has out. Used to be a limit of like 100 and now I bet there are close to 1000.
Bet if I apply for one so I can open a bar called Bud's they'd say they reached a limit then open 5 more bars the next month.
I just want a Bud draft sometimes. Been drinking that since I was a tadpole.

Sorry guys I'm just an angry dick since my old man died.
My mom is a pathological liar and I'd hoped she'd quit since she can't use the excuse that she lies all the time because "dad's an ogre". He's dead so why keep up the charade? Sigh. It is what it is and I'm going to have to have her put away in the old liars home.

I keep finding evidence that discredits all the woppers she's told. Some are epic and almost worth sharing.

Im with you dude. I dont like the nitro milk stout from a dragons tit beer either. An ice cold bud heavy hits the spot from time to time. Everyone i know that drink craft beers started out on keystone light. Its weird how some turn into beer snobs
