Annual Christmas at the VA hospital

Postby jarbo03 » Sun Dec 23, 2012 10:47 am

Dinner and prepared gift bags last night. All the kids get very involved, we told them no gifts were being handed out between the family, instead all gifts were being taken to the vets.

Jerry, that's awesome. Even as much as you all enjoy doing it, I still doubt we have any idea how much those guys appreciate it. You're the man.

Thankg guys. This is our 4th year doing so. My mother started this after seeing how many vets had no family during the holidays. Unfortunately she was only around for the first year, she would be proud to see hiw things are going. You are right Jim, the smiles in the vets faces are priceless, gives me such a good feeling it is hard to describe.

This workplace is dusty, and it got in my eyes a little again.
