Now the other hunts were spring snows. The guides busted their asses for the older members of my group, did their best to keep us on birds, blah blah blah. I tipped them very well and collected tips from my group. We did 25 a day per person which adds up to a nice payday at the end of a 3 or 4 day hunt. Now if someone in our group isn't or wasn't happy I ask them to speak up and if they don't feel they should tip tell me why and I can live with it.

What did he do that was so bad? I'm curious.

Thanks for cleaning up the language.

First day after the hunt he hit a bouy that just about high centered the vessel. We were talking to each and not paying attention until he hit the bouy. When i looked at him he was on his cell with that deer in the head lights look on his face. We had water pouring over the transom in 30 degree weather in late January in Massachusetts. He also tried to have us sit in the boat while he chased birds down then jump shoot them when he shut down the motor.

The next day he tried to get us to walk down a ditch along an industrial area and jump shoot black ducks. He said and I quote" just don't shoot in the direction of those buildings". I told him BS I'm not doing that, they had guys working in the yards and what not. Well 2 guys in our group decided they wanted to do it. While waiting for them to return the water dropped enough for us to get stuck. Well 3 of us jumped out to lighten the load and push the bow around. Once we got the boat moving my buddy was trying to jump back into the boat. The only way back in was from the bow,he had a hard sided blind on the boat. He gunned the boat with my buddy on the bow going under the vessel with me and another friend holding onto mike and the boat to try and throw him into the boat before he went under it. Mikes brother was in the boat and and almost yanked him off the tiller before he stopped. It was a bad situation.

Then when we hit the launch the game wardens were waiting for us. Evidently the people at the businesses called about the guys in our group that got out and tried jump shooting along their fence. I had a long talk with him and he told me that guide pushed the envelop on the laws.

The last day I wasn't going to hunt but was convinced to go by my good friend. Well the guide decided to bring his buddies and put them in a postion to get the birds before us. I had it out with them and him when they tried to tell me something about my bad attitude that morning. There's more but that's just the cliff notes.

after you hit the bouy you should have hog tied him in the anchor line and thrown it overboard. call his wife when you get back to the ramp and tell her that he gave you the boat and his truck right before he run off with some blonde chick in her black chevy siverado, ask her how she wants to go about getting you the titles... that's how I would have handled it
