Snus

Postby Eric Haynes » Sat Feb 02, 2013 12:20 pm

Try not to beat me up here, as I've never tried it, but has anyone tried it? A guy here just bought some and is swallowing all the spit. Says it's made to be swallowed, but I've swallowed dip spit and hurled everywhere...cant see how these are any different than bandits.

I was always a smoker and only chewed(redman or levi) when i wasnt allowed to smoke at work, my knowledge on dip and snus are limited.

too expensive for what you get. It normally takes me 3-4 of the snus packages to even mildly substitute a dip. You can swallow the spit although it does give a burn to some extent until you get used to it. I wouldn't recommend it but that is my personal preference.

I'll more than likely just mount it right there in the field.

I didn't expect to buy any, I was just wondering what its all about. That and i was hoping he would puke.

Been siting in a State DU meeting all day gutting it.

I can't stand skoal/cope and prefer loose leaf or plug, but don't like toting a spitter everywhere.

I can remember the days when dad would take a leaf right off the stripping room floor. Tried it once, won't do it again.

Tobacco is hung in a barn for a while to dry out and age before it is sent to the processor, the stripping room is where you strip the leaves off of the stalk.

More so set in his ways. That is by far the best way to fight nicotine poisoning when topping in the summer time.

I use that stuff whenever I have to fly on business. It's made to be swallowed, and adds to the buzz.

I tried the snus once(got it free when it first came out) and i had to line my lip with those things to tell i had it in. I dip Copenhagen and swallow the spit. I never have a spitter.

Was always cope snuff or husky fine when I was in it. Learned to stomach it working retail but now the smell almost makes me gag

Im a cope long cut guy. I cant even smell skoal straight with out getting myself sick. I tried those snus's before it just seems like had to put a few in my lip to get any sort of result from it.

I prefer my Longhorn wintergreen. Packs well, easily swallowed, and lasts long.

As for those itty bitty pouches, they are a gimmick. You are better off buying nicotine gum.

I must've tried the other kind. The Marlboro brand is just on the shelf. They do last forever, though. But if I chew a couple pieces of the gum, I'll get dizzy as hell and then get the hiccups as I get dizzier. Good stuff.

I hadn't tried it for about 5 years or so. They've fixed it quite a bit. The cinnamon tastes just like Big Red, and it actually chews like gum, not a piece of plastic. And it fucks you up.
