When you get married

Postby aunt betty » Thu Feb 14, 2013 12:58 pm

Have been to a few weddings. VERY few.

The thing I noticed that disturbs me is how most of the time you can't hear the bride and groom giving their vows.
I'm here to say that when y'all get married...speak loud enough for everyone in the church to hear.
I did. All the guests at our wedding commented on how nice it was to actually hear a man saying he'd promise to love, honor, and cherish a woman FOREVER.

You may be wondering where this came from. It's Valentine's Day and I've been looking at our wedding pictures. I'm lucky to have been married to the same woman for almost 30 years. I will complain from time to time but it's just blowing off steam.
Remember to speak up when you say your vows. Mumbling them is not acceptable.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

Congrats to you and the mrs AB. Not many can boast 30 years with the same person.

One thing I would love to hear is how the Mrs puts up with your antics. I mean I wouldn't mind meeting you and maybe sharing a blind for a day, but 30 years,
Tell your mom I said hi.

I've only been married for going on 4 years. Fighting is part of the game and you need to pick and choose when it's time to let it all out. Don't know why guys say sex is over once you get married. My wife would want to 3 times a day, everyday of the week if I wanted to. Just too damn tired for that
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

All the shit I heard about married life hasn't happened yet. I'm soemwhat lucky though. I'm gone for 90 days so we start missing each other. Then I'm back for 90 days so the time spent is more cherished and just about the time we get to where the fighting would occur I'm gone again. I haven't been married that long though but it's not bad like most have told me.
