Time for a Countdown to begin. 20 fucking days left on this god fosaken continent. The US and alcohol establishments aint ready, boys. I already told dad, I will have 4 eggs, a steak and be working on a 6 pack before 8am. Simply because I am a grown ass man.

In all honesty, I will be so busy my first month home I wont know what to do. I honestly have maybe a week to relax at most, then it is full throttle. I leave for NC on the 8th of July, then leave for florida for a week on the 15th. I will be in Ohio on the 28th and 29th of July, then off to college on the 1st of August. I am just ready to be back to some kind of normalcy.

Can't help it. When you get to be a short timer in the military, it's almost mandatory to have a "x days and a wake-up" count down going. I started mine 180 days out

Sounds good, we're probably looking at the 2nd to last week of October, we'll try to leave some birds for ya!

I quit drinking any alcohol at 30 days. I noticed that many short timers didn't go home or were in pieces from celebrating the last day for one full month at the end.

I have 3 months of civilian life then 1 weekend a month again, I still have 6 years until I can think about being done. I will relax at the farm and the lake for a few days before I jump into dealing with a multitude of people again.

I really dont drink much over here to begin with, been more than a few people get into some pretty big trouble for the alcohol and I dont want my name thrown in the mix with them. I will drink my fill when I get home with close friends and family.
