Postby BrewGUN » Thu Jan 30, 2014 4:26 pm

My favorite skits were always celebrity jeopardy.

John Belushi was the most overrated "comedian" ever. Ever. Of all time.

Will Ferrell was the best SNL member of all time.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Times change and jokes get where they are outdated. Tim Conway was funny as hell in 1970 but today is just dumb.

But when you were a kid the stooges were still a lot more relevant than in 2014.

Stuff like that was probably more relevant until about the mid 90s, honestly. Still doesn't explain why SNL from the 70s sucks, but the Stooges from 1938 are hilarious.

It's like their food- bland, unimaginative, and only enjoyed because nobody wants to admit how bad it sucks.

No one asked about monty python or Benny Hill.

He was funny as a samurai running a sandwich shop. I guess nothing else really stands out. Did he actually do comedy or just hop around and grunt all the time? Serious question, I wasn't around to see any of it.
