Flyway Highway

Is this guy really using an Eotech holo sight on his shotgun? Never seen this show before now. (just got the sportsman channel this summer)

Using a scope on a shotgun for turkey hunting is one thing, but a holographic sight for duck hunting... give me a break, seems like a gimmick to me.

You're not a duck hunter if you don't shoot your Remington Wingmaster HD's through your quality Remington 887 nitro mag. Then afterwards, we'll load up the Yamaha atv and head back to camp and cook up our ducks on the Bradley smoker. While we wait for the ducks to cook on the Bradley smoker, we'll install our Eotech Holographic sights on our Remington 887 nitro mags.

It's 2:30am and I'm a 6 pack of blue moon deep watching flyway highway at a buddy's house. The show still sucks half drunk. My buddy just said he gets more entertainment out of taking a s&!t then watching this guy with his eotech.

I know someone that hunted with him last season. I gave this person crap about hunting with him for weeks. One of the guys hunting with them told me he actually wasn't bad in person.

The only thing that changes on the show is locations,it's the same product plugs every week. It's just a little too much for me to stomach.

I'm not saying his a bad guy. He very well might be the nicest guy around. He just needs to figure out how to make his show less cheese ball. Just plug your sponsors before and after the show. Don't try and ram it down are throat during the entire episode. I don't give a Sh*t about your gun sight or your Bradley Smoker! Quit acting like a Dildo and shoot some birds!!!!

I don't watch any hunting shows on TV. After seeing that clip, instead of saying Take these, I'm going to yell Cut Em'!!!!!

When I first started hunting birds and shootin' skeet (I was 14 or 15) I had a B-squared scope mount on my 870. I don't know if ya'll have ever seen one of these but it slid down over the receiver and bolted into the pins that held the trigger. The scope mounted on top but it was raised with a square that you could look down the barrel and see the bead. Anyway, all that was said to say that that's how I learned to hit. Whatever was inside that square got busted. I don't even know where that thing is now.

I think that show is awesome. I have learned so much from Craig and try to pattern my hunting strategies the same way. I don't have a Eotech yet, but I will. How can it hurt? Great show, can't wait for the next episode.

I think the whole point of it is to create proper form, which can be done without it. I have shot a gun with a burris SB and all it made me do was have perfect cheek placement on the stock to actually see through it.

For 240 bucks you might as well learn the right way.

Does the dot it puts up even move so you know how much to lead, or does it basically give you a higher sight than the beads on the rib? I've never even bothered to look it up.

Does it show the duck's pitch, altitude, and heading? A G force indicator would be handy for teal

I'm pretty sure a teal could evade a fighter jet. Which reminds me of last year, my buddy told me to stay still and I hear what litterally sounds like a fighter jet fly over. It was a flock of teal with wings set dropping down from behind us headed up the lake to our left. I never saw them (didn't move), but that was one cool sound to hear.

(I'm only 2 years into this crap, give me a break)
