Is that the one that releases with the thumb stud?

Yea it's pretty cool.

It's unique, that's for sure. I always feel like I'm going to cut my finger in half when I do it.

Wader pants that have stirrups to keep them from riding up, a pair of glommits, and a fleece balaclava in the new max5 pattern.

I'm glad you added that last part, I was about make fun of you.

You can make fun of me, instead. When I started wearing "breathable" waders, I thought it wise to buy a pair of Cabela's heavy fleece wader pants and a pair of heavy fleece long-handles, and it's not been cold enough to wear either comfortably since. But when the next Ice Age gets here, I'll be ready.

How warm are those fleece wader pants?

Not bad without the waders, but under breathables too hot for me in the 20s.

They made two "weights" of those wader pants, and discontinued the lighter ones a couple years ago...those were about perfect down to about 40 and then switch to he heavy ones.
Of course, riding in a boat generates a lot less heat than walking through a marsh.

Awesome. I hate being cold. To me cold is cold. And I don't like it. If it feels cold out to me then it's cold. I don't care what the thermometer says.

The more I use it the easier it is. I like it so far. Good value for what you actually get.

I really just got them for comfort bc I get so tired of trying to stuff my jeans into my socks and then get all that down in the waders without them riding up. Pretty uncomfortable. I was a little worried abt warmth but glad to hear they're warm from a northerner  . I wear flannel pajama pants under my jeans for warmth usually but the bulk of that is annoying and It gets real hot when I have to walk in to a hunt.

Bought a couple dozen of these. Been wanting to try some plastics for a couple years but couldn't get them from a reliable source...it will be interesting to see how these hold up compared to the solid body/burlap decoys we've been using.

I buy a lot of carving/decoy/history of waterfowling books off amazon. Mainly just to read but I just got Carving Decorative Miniature Flying Ducks by Anthony Hillman and think I'm going to try carving one.

The book you just got was one of two books that Nick Sapone recommended.

Still rookie to goose calls but better than the lowlife I had. Been having more geese show up at our place and need to get after them.

Why would this need to be camo?

I almost bought some of these the other day but went with the fleece wader pants instead. Let us know how they work FF, instill might grab a set. For 5 bucks it's worth trying them out.

I posted that for you. They're great when wader pants are too much. Spend the $5, and stop trying to tuck your pants into your socks.
