I've never understood this...
Stock up on ammo for an "apocolips" to the point you can't have enough mags to hold them or carry.
I know a guy who claims to have 75,000+ 5.56 rounds.
If you have to shoot that many people, then you won't have enough time.
Unless you have a bunker, what is the point?
Why wouldn't I have enough time? Would you have a problem with me having 356,000 rounds? Cuomo, is that you?

Maybe. But it still looks awkward. Like it's waiting to break off, or get seriously out of whack the first time you bump it.

If you buy a quality one that won't happen. I've left mine on for weeks at a time before, still bright as ever.

I don't see the point in spending that much money on a scope without lines and doesn't magnify. It does the same thing as iron sights but eliminates the lining up factor. So I guess they are idiot proof.

That fraction of a second saved can be the difference between life and death on a battle field.

It's just fun to have one. Sometimes that's reason enough.

Exactly. Iron sights on my old M16s were plenty out to 300 meters.

True. But how many people buying ARs now with red dots will every see a battle field? Or have a situation in which that saved time is needed?

Hopefully none (ignoring comp), but if you buy an AR15 with no thought of the three listed above wouldn't a Rem 700 have done a better job anyways? (Barring of course shooting for fun, which was already covered)
