There are fucking geese everywhere here. Hunted the WMA this morning and watched flock after flock pour out of the refuge. Musta been 1k in there. Just saw a field on the edge of campus with 150 birds. They are flying over nonstop.
Only problem is they know where to go to not get shot.

Put a coyote decoy out in the fields you can't hunt makes them go else where .

Make a big coyote sillos and stick it out .

If I wanted to kill geese that bad I would. But the 2 bird limit isn't worth the hassle unless it's a gimme hunt.

I don't hunt waterfowl on the weekends, so it's tough to get any kind of group together during the week. And I'd much rather kill ducks if I can.

Spent the day trying to get my younger brother a buck. Got a shot off but I misjudged the distance by about 25 yards. Either way, he had a blast and we'll be at it tomorrow.

Why???

The backed waters from a never dam are almost always packed full of ducks around here.

This is in the mountains. I've never even seen a duck up here.

Said fuck it, Saturday morning I am going duck hunting. If I hold my shotgun properly it shouldn't be a problem as it won't touch my collarbone.

Morning boys. I don't have any service at the camp so check ins are going to be sparse. I slept in this morning after that long ass drive. Getting ready to launch the boat and go find some birds!
