Just punch in the grains and it does it by itself?

Yup or kick it into auto and every time you put the pan down it kicks out the same charge in about 15 seconds

That's awesome. Weighing powder is the most tedious and boring part about reloading.

Nope.

Considering what they get for the vacuum bags, they'd be wise to give the machines away.

I found some off brand bags at Menards of all places that were insanely cheaper than I previously thought possible. They did the trick just fine.

I've still a supply of the pads from when they packed a mess of them with each thermacell or refill kit and have saved a lot of coin refilling the butane bottles ala youtube.

eBay for vacuum bags! I've gotten a 11"x100' roll for less than $30.

Food saver brand rolls are that much for 3 11x16' rolls. Found some good deals on amazon prime as well.

You've never heard of a ghost ring sight? It's for really short range shooting. The gun is meant for home defense so with the giant ring on the back and the giant sight on the front you can get in target less than 10 yards very quickly.

You've obviously never shot 00 at less than 10 yards. Go do it and look at the group size....

Exactly.

The ghost ring theory is basically what you see is what you get...@10 yards their is no pattern, it's pretty much a 3" diameter slug.

Yup and from the end of my hallway and my front door which is where I would engage an intruder is less than 20ft so at 2 am when I've just woken up and my heart rate is going off the charts I don't want to guess where my shots will land.

Fill the ghost ring with torso and end the threat right away.

At 10yds you should be able to put a slug in a human size target without worrying about aiming I would think.

Because at 2 am when you have your door being kicked in you'll be thinking about aim... There is a reason ghost sights are used by the military and LE.

That's what I mean. Last think I'd be thinking about is aiming.
Look at my target, point and shoot. Just like I do with ducks. I never look at my bead.

Ducks arent trying to kill you. You can think that you want but when my life is on the line I want the odds in my favor and having a taticool ghost sight does that. There is a reason they are standard on combat shotguns around the world.

To each his own I guess. All I know is I wouldn't want to be trying to look through a small circle at my target with eyes that are most likely not functioning right after being woke up in the middle of the night seconds before.
I do my best shooting at ducks that come out of nowhere and don't give me time to think.
I don't think ghost rings are a bad idea or that they don't work for some people. But I'd trust my instinct shooting at that range before Id worry about aiming.

I think you need to go talk to combat vets about what it's like to actually be in a fire fight. Comparing your duck hunting skills to trying to kill a human who possibly has the same or more firepower as you are way different things. I've never been in combat so I can't say how I'd do if I were in that situation but I don't think my duck hunting skills will play even the slightest part.

Then again I don't have any duck hunting skills either so I'm screwed.

I don't think a combat firefight and shooting an intruder at 30 feet at 2am have much in common either. I can see the use in a combat situation. I just can't see the use in a dark hallway in the middle of the night.
