No consensus about what to take in the blind eh?

I take what I take and eat or drink whatever I want. (if I don't forget it in the truck)
I might even take the stuff to make breakfast...(if I don't forget the stove, heater, gas, or propane)
Lots of stuff can happen.

Always forget the snacks in the truck but never the weed. So I'm really hungry when I hunt. Which makes me shoot bad.
I've taken the camp stove out hunting once and it was a pain in the ass. More trouble than it was worth.

You've got to keep taking the munchies man. You wait til you're so hungry your guts are tearing themselves apart...then you finally get out the stove and bacon. Just about the time it gets crackling and you have a cup of coffee in hand DUCKS!....and you about catch the boat and blind on fire, spill your coffee, drop the one-hitter, but you manage to down one or two green heads...hehe.
You'll get there.

Reminds me of back in the late-90's when I was in college. Had a dog named blackie. If things were slow and it was slow a lot I'd crash out in the boat-blind with the heater going. Blackie would watch the spread and wake me up if ducks came. No kiddin. He'd whine really quiet and paw at me. He was a smart dog.

SOB someone got a hold of my debit card number and drained my checking. Lucky for me I have a pretty annoying system of only keeping less than $500 in there at any given time and that my bank is issuing a full refund.

Drained it at a Walmart in Colorado. WTF is wrong with people?

I wonder where my number was swiped from...

Probably either groceries or gas. We've had our debit card hacked three times now. My wife is like a detective on this stuff, watches the account transaction to transaction, and can tell you exactly what day, what store, what transaction were "the ones". One day she went to Schnuck's for groceries and by the time she got home three charges had been blocked.
1. Someone was in a toll booth in Massachusetts?
2. Someone tried buying furniture in Scotland?
3. Someone was in Los Angeles trying to buy a TV?

Olly this all happened in like 15 minutes on just one occasion.

WTF is wrong with people?

We used to hang horse thieves, but now if they caught this thief he probably wouldn't even go to jail. The people haven't changed that much. Society has tolerated this treatment of adults as children and the criminals are just kids misbehaving as opposed to being criminals. The fear and stigma of being a criminal is largely gone. And the left is working hard to make denying global warming a far greater crime that what this thief has done. What is wrong with these people? I have no idea. Nothing wrong beyond normal human failings of the thief. Those that don't want to punish him sufficiently to deter others, I have no idea.

The true nature of the problems society are dealing with is not at all hard to figure out. (the cause)
The problems we're having are the same problems we've been having since the mid-1800's.

We're struggling with a corporate system trying to redesign society to fit it's needs. At the same time our govts and institutions are operating under laws and values established before industrialization. We have corporate values and priorities in a world ruled by archaic agricultural means (by corporate standards).

Family values need to be replaced with corporate ones stat.

Myself, I resist this whole load of hog wash because corporate will fail us all right after it erases any self-reliance skills we might have had in the past. All this technological advance stuff will be paid for in extreme misery by our offspring and theirs. They won't even know how to grow a tomato or kill and clean a rabbit. And all the books will be gone..internet gone and then what?

I think it's ironic as heck whenever the govt runs a public service ad warning us to be ready to fend for ourselves. Be prepared for "it" and you're labeled as a freak, a prepper, a possible terrorist.

There is no possible about it. In the event of a fallout natural, man made, or otherwise "preppers" are to be treated as domestic terrorists by the national guard since they are willingly withholding supplies that could be used for "the good of the country". Times are bad now but aren't going to get any better. Out country promotes immorality in the name of freedom but constantly tries to stomp out the freedoms that make us independent. The criminal system is a joke and a major problem. If you want a system to work punishment must be known and weighted correctly. I'm not advocating crucifixion like the Romans but there have to be real consequences for your actions to keep people from being worthless shits. Our system favors the scum and tells the people who finance it that we have your back when they could care less.
