They are roughly the same price and the pelican is nearly twice as good. I don't have one, a buddy does and my yeti always stays home. Yeti have 50% off for military so it's worth it to me. If I had to pay full price, I wouldn't be buying one, i'd own a pelican elite.

One downside I would say is their weight. When its full I think it weighs around 120-150. Feels crazy heavy without anything in it.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

If someone says "tan 45" and "$400" in one sentence, they had better damn well be talking about a pistol.

I've got a 105qt Coleman that sits on the deck next to the pool all summer.

It will keep ice for 7 days.

I paid $85 at Wal-Mart for it 3 years ago.

Thats why I said only if I had to pay full price. Not knocking yeti, just saying for full price, theres better.

Someone post that youtube clip of the old guy getting pulled over for DUI on the lawn mower that tries to take a pull off the breathalyzer machine. My phone is dead, and no tubing on the work computer (filter blocks it)
