Just hating on westie and WTN10 cuz they post up pics that is the antithesis of ducking. They are just like the robertsons tv show. Not like the real robertsons, but like the show. This sliver of the sport is a refined advertisement and robs the sport of its AB-ness or Deadeye-nastiness. Shitloads of work go into the game those boys run. The tv show, concrete hoping, Big Losers!!! dont open up crops to help in the next days scout.
i disagree, different for sure, but the work for a Byers club hunt goes on all year long. HUGE resources put into it, I don't know Byers really at all but know cannon pretty well and know the hardships he faces in farming, far as I can tell the duck hunting is a small bit of gravy on a truly demanding and risky lively hood

No duh, lots of income comes from managing the land for ducks and Im sure that Byers and cannon who i assume works it with him gets major pay offs from BIG LOSERS!
Those boys are pros and using agriculture towards a migratory bird shooting means big money for them. More props to those guys. And more emphasis on their clients who claim that they're their hunts are BIG LOSERS.

Beef - it's crap like this that makes me want to stop posting pics.

Piles of dead ducks don't mean I'm better than Westie or WTN. Or John. Or Olly. Or you. Or anyone else.

It doesn't mean I hunt harder. Or put in more effort.

It mostly means I have a group of dedicated friends that hunt together every weekend and anytime we can sneak away for a day here and there. And we own cameras. That's it.

You have friends that love to spend money gassing around scouting. You dont share info from your friends scouting mission online cuz its valuable. Its valuable in multiple dimensions. It would cost BIG LOSERS money to know in your mind and you know it.

I've been wrong all this time.

I used to think beef was just an eccentric weirdo and possible user of recreational drugs.

Turns out he's just a dick.

For shits sake. The jealousy is thick in here. Hey westie, I'm jealous of the group hunts you guys put on at byers. I'm jealous of that cool looking duck cabin you guys stay in too, but I wouldn't piss n moan that I wasn't there.

You get my point. Your only worried about being affiliated with my statements. But you are by indirect example. Nice cover.

That's about it with out digging deeper for the older ones. I think most, if not all, of these were this season.

Is that Clyde's layout? If not, have you hunted it?

Ditto....beautiful Drake goldeneye.

Thanks guys.
GEs are "my bird". I never tire of hunting them and I don't care how cold it is, if I even have a chance at one.

I would like to try layout hunting for sea ducks one day. Mainly oldsquaws and harlequins.

You'll notice a conspicuous lack of photos from me in this thread. One day before its over with, I'm going to post a pic of me with 16 black ducks. Then you'll know I've reached that point. Stay the fuck back.

I'll trade you an all bills 7 bird limit possibility for one of your all squaws limit possibility any day. We don't have the same numbers of squaws as you lakes guys and east coast guys have.

Do it. Just have that guy duplex lover "doctor" your pics first. Maybe you could request he uses the Mexican guy from 'dusk til dawn' for your face cover.

Yep, it's the aluminum layout Clyde built. He plans to build another that is sized down some. That thing has plenty of room and is stable as all hell.

Cheech? I'd prefer the guy from Heat. And about 50 other movies, none of which I can remember right now.

No, the one who always plays the "chicano badass", has a huge tattoo of a lady on his chest.

But cheech would be cool too.

Some older pics.

My son, quackhead here and a few other forums, with his 2006 eurasian Widgeon. We were actually hunting divers at the time.

Not a boat load but, a squaw from my past.

My first all drake GE limit, if I remember right.

My friend took this picture but, it is one of my favorites. It was a nice bull can on a Thanksgiving morning hunt.

First retrieve for my friends golden.
