It would make more sense for these dudes to drive a Honda Ridgeline

Haha!

I see what you are saying, but if you were to win the lottery, would you drive a rusty 94 Dodge Dakota or a 2013 Ford Raptor?

If you say, neither... a F350/450.../650... Or 3500/4500.... I swear I will Internet smack you!

IDK why, but when ever I see some one driving one of those without a giant trailer in tow... I automatically hate the.

Does the Raptor come with the "Lobo" badges and grill, or is that something the Mexicans add after the fact?

Is that a 6" lift?

somewhere around there. It was a custom 3 link suspension sitting spring over in the rear. Lockers all around and I stayed on 33s so I could stay in the stock class for Meets.

I wish I would've got a 4.5", but didn't want to fuck with the driveshaft. But after I spent the better part of day dropping the transfer case, I just should have got what I wanted, anyway. That is a job that I never care to do again. We had ratchet straps and come alongs going into my buddy's house from the garage and around a wall to get the front axle back on. We should've read the directions first.

Rozzo I've seen that jeep before!

And Assa I used to go to meets with extra 231s because I was blowing them so often. Eventually I went to a Dana 300.

Where'd you see it? It's cool that my work is getting noticed in other places. I'm a real small struggling fab shop.

What were you blowing on the 231's? Planetarys or the chain? There a pretty decent case but not worth putting $ into once you start popping them. Then its time to bite the bullet and buy an atlas.

Oh and I kept destroying the chains, it got to where it was easier to just swap out another case. I could do it in about 30 minutes. I eventually put in a flipped 300 with twin sticks.

Love the clicking of the valves on those old trucks. Brings back great memories with grandpa around the farm when I hear one. I agree with the rebuilt 250.

Somewhere in there in the 'realistic' range falls a stock 4x4 pickup with street tires.
Trying to get decent mileage towing a boat kinda requires it for me.
Travel about 5k miles/yr during waterfowl season.
The closer to 20 mpg I get, the better.

I'm not climbing rocks. Going thru flooded gumbo is a bit different. It has a hard sandy 'bottom'.
Tearing it up with knobbies just makes it worse.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

Don't hate the truck because a few douchebags drive one, I could make that case for about every vehicle listed. I challenge anyone to test drive one without getting a semi-chub.
