Well after looking for another hour my buddy made it out to camp and came to help me look. He thinks from the details that I missed the deer all together. Which is of course way better than not finding it. I'll be back in the stand this weekend. Gonna go home and nurse my pride with a few cold ones.

About to head out to camp. I dunno how long I'll sit today, it's 23 outside gusting 20 my tree stand is gonna be like riding a bull. If it's too bad ill retreat to a box blind on the property but hopefully today is the day.

Good luck guys. Sitting in the heated blind right now, about to kick my boots off. We got close to 6" of snow last night. Should make it a lot easier to see them. Crossed a huge track as I walked in. Hopefully he swings back through.

My dad just killed a nice 9 point. Not quite as big as brewguns but a nice one. I walked into his blind to wait while he gets the tractor. It's 65 in here. Just a little colder outside.:lol:

Turns out this was the same buck i hit. Found the hole through the meat of his belly. Never even got into the guts.
