I have this feeling we will see Alex Smith tonight. I won't feel safe until we are up by 56. Until then the wife is on the way to the store to get me more booze.

Hmm...It was almost 50 here today. Not sure if weather plays a factor as I've always just shot them when I saw them grouse hunting. I would like a few for the table though.

Jr has been cleaning up, his alleged tactics are of questionable legality though

I'm questionable myself. You saying I need to get there earlier? Allegedly

It bothers you that bad?!? Bufflehead, tell these guys, again, that I'm not making up a new name for "bluebills".

Doesn't really bother me, just doesn't make any sense. I don't need Bufflehead to tell me.

Ok. Why do they call canvasbacks canvasbacks? They don't have a back like canvas. Maybe they should call them redeyes.

That is their name, not nickname. It would be like saying a Scaup doesn't have a scaup so why do they call it that.

Dude...go back and read any of the old books and stories about duck hunting - they've been called blackheads forever, especially on the east coast.
