This it's why you always ask if there is anything wrong with the vehicle. If they knowingly lie about something that can cause a safety issue, I'd have to imagine the could be some recourse. If items just that the alternator is going bad, eh, but something that causes a fire?

The driver said it started at the reefer but the tractor and trailer were both burning when I noticed the smoke and drove over to see what was up.
