Just hating on westie and WTN10 cuz they post up pics that is the antithesis of ducking. They are just like the robertsons tv show. Not like the real robertsons, but like the show. This sliver of the sport is a refined advertisement and robs the sport of its AB-ness or Deadeye-nastiness. **** of work go

I dont care to hear about Byers because I was never there, and will never be there. But I don't begrudge you all for reliving your good times. Hopefully you will actually come here and we will make some new memories.

i disagree, different for sure, but the work for a Byers club hunt goes on all year long. HUGE resources put into it, I don't know Byers really at all but know cannon pretty well and know the hardships he faces in farming, far as I can tell the duck hunting is a small bit of gravy on a truly demanding and risky lively hood

No duh, lots of income comes from managing the land for ducks and Im sure that Byers and cannon who i assume works it with him gets major pay offs from BIG LOSERS!
Those boys are pros and using agriculture towards a migratory bird shooting means big money for them. More props to those guys. And more emphasis on their clients who claim that they're their hunts are BIG LOSERS.

MB, you couldn't be more wrong. The people you mention are simply trying to continue a lifestyle they have been doing since they were children. They work very hard and spend a ton of time and money on arranging it so the ducks come to their properties and continue to do so in the future. (hopefully)
It's worth every penny to them and their clients or else they wouldn't be posting pics all over about how much fun they had.
It looks like fun and I wish I could afford to go for a couple days.

This is shot from our Byers hunt. The guide was a real dick and insisted we call him big daddy. He also set up so all the geese flew over his layout blind. Joel is lucky he left before big daddy had us cover out layouts in sticker bushes.

Fuck Big Daddy. Big Dick Head I would have called him.

You'd have to see more of the wing to decide if it is a Barrows or not for sure. The last barrows hen I shot had a solid orange bill, no black.

Usually, the Barrows has all orange bill except the tip is black. That's mature hen.
Also, the slope of the forehead is sharper on a Barrows and that bird (bird in pic) seems to have more gradual slope,which is a common trait( I mean trait of a common GE).
