I'll bet that works 100% better than freaking out, calling people cocksuckers, taking your rage to other threads and holding grudges. I don't start many threads, but I don't mind letting them go off topic, they only usually do so when the thread has run its course anyway, and you guys are always make them interesting.

There are a lot of great guys on here with lots of great information to share, this whole off topic "issue" doesn't change that, just makes it more interesting. Seriously, if you want more rules, go to DHC. Oh wait...8-)

Okay, forgot we have a few cokeheads here....Back to being serious.

Okay I think this thread has run it's course a little faster than the week so I'm ending it now.

I want to make a moment to say that even though the votes favored the "anarchy" approach to running this forum and I will not make a formal rule regarding this. I want to say that anyone that thinks WFF or any forum can continue without any rules at all is either naive or just doesn't care about WFF. When you guys clamor about WFF turning into DHC you're missing the point. The point isn't about having a forum with no rules but one run with common sense. So if you guys care at all about this place continuing to be then maybe take the time to think about what you're doing before you knowingly derail someones thread because you find humor in doing so. I'm telling you right now that I love what we have done here and I have put more time and money into this site then I ever thought I would. But since this isn't a job for me and I don't even break even with the monthly cost of running it... when it stops being fun there won't be a reason to keep going.

Now to address the other side. I challenge you to take more ownership of your topics, a lot of times I get PM's from you guys asking me to say something or pointing out that others have ruined your thread I go and see that you haven't even asked them to keep it on track. Or you haven't even provided good solid content to begin with. Step up and provide topics that are worth a serious reply.

I hope that this has made both sides stop and think and maybe the forum will be better for it.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams
