I suppose you know how to work a Biltmore Stick. If you can cut down a tree with a chain saw, surely you can operate a Biltmore Stick.

Anyone can look it up but people who cut down trees shouldn't need to look up "Biltmore Stick". Do you even know what it is used for? If someone gave you one, could you figure it out?

I don't have the slightest clue what it is. So i can't answer that.

I guess you'll have to look it up, being the outdoorsman you are and the chain saw guru, I am surprised.

So, you ran the line on PCT operation? You guys used chainsaws? Mostly I've seen them using a saw similar to a weedwacker with a beaver blade on it, commercial grade obviously. You don't have to bend down to make the cut that way. A friend of mine did that for a living for awhile, until he realized it wasn't the best business model for making his first million$.

The mill in Silverton was closed long before my time. Did this buyout effect any of the other mills in OR that you know of QH?
