I shoot with a small local group on sundays oct-Feb. Strictly. 22 pistols. 8 inch barrel and under and no scopes. It's a blast and doesn't cost a fortune. We keep scores and give out trophies at the end of the season. I'll see if I can find some pics of the targets and stuff

T post drivers get me right on the top of my right index finger (top as if you're driving one- technically I guess that's the side). Even for as well as they work, there's gotta be a better way. Sort of like a T post puller in reverse. Although I pity the fools I see trying to pound one in with a sledge.

On a related note, I also have another blister on the tip of my left index finger. It hurts like a mother******. I dropped a small dollop of molten, caramelized, literally smoking hot sugar and potassium nitrate on it tonight, making gopher bombs. I thought I broke my wrist I was shaking it so furiously trying to get that shit off. It's like napalm.

Melted para cord does the same thing. Oh sweet Jesus that stuff burns and will not come off until it's solid again.

Drink, hit a ball, go chase it, hit it again, chase it, hit it again, put it in the hole. Have another drink. Repeat.

Tell me if I'm mistaken, but if someone says "I'm going to assume you're a good actor", they are basically calling you a liar, correct?

I did that radio interview bit about the DNR stops. Dude said that to me because I said "as an outdoorsman, I understand the need to stop invasive species", he said that before I got to say "but they can't infringe upon our rights to do so".

That was a douche move. Kudos to you for stepping up to the plate and doing it, though. Whenever he asked you a question, you should have said "uffda, that's a tough one..." before answering.

I suppose that's what I get for going on a fox news radio show. The show after these two, Glen Beck. *shudders*

Just found out somebody drowned on the Mississippi about 2 minutes from my house yesterday. Swimming from sandbar to sandbar. Usually happens about once a year down there.

Is there eddys that suck them under from the bars or is it that the current ends up being stronger than they anticipate?

The current is very strong down there. It's about curve number 5 in a series of about 8 bends. There's lots of whirlpools and the sandbars have false bottoms. The river actually flows under a lot of it. It's just a really scary section of river. Not to mention all the barge traffic. When I was a kid a guy drowned and they found him in Louisiana.

Just went to the barber to get my ears lowered. Barber gave me a hot salve and a straight edge shave. Never had that done before. Pretty cool.

I'm going to great clips in a minute or two when I'm on break.

I get their gift card for myself each christmas time, because it's good for $9.99 haircuts. Just load it up and pay for them throughout the year with it.

The little shop I go to charges 14 for a cut. I just hand him a 20 and tell him to give me a 5 back. Probably should tip more but they know I'm a poor kid. Haha.
