That's sacrilegious is what that is.

Right up until the point that they started butchering one of the most kick-ass rock songs by the greatest heavy metal band to EVER exist. Then I vomited on my phone and it shorted out.

What I'm saying is, you've posted some stuff that I've never heard of. If it were as simple as clicking on it, I'd check it out,
But doing a search of my own, based only on album art from a screen shot, requires way more effort than I'm willing to expend.

Death magnetic wasn't great, but good and a huge improvement from St. Anger.

It got hyped up to be "old school Metallica" but it wasn't even close. Lars is shitty drummer who has literally gotten worse since AJFA and the others(minus Trujillo) are just too old to do any of that these days

That's what I felt about st anger. Supposed to be "old school Metallica" but then it just came out like them trying to do an impersonation of themselves in the early 90's. At least death magnetic was different. I will always be a fan of the music, but after seeing "some kind of monster" the documentary about making St. Anger I cannot believe what a bunch if Whiney little bitches they all came off as. Except Trujillo.

They are all ego maniacs besides Rob, who is by far the most talented in the band. I could only imagine if Mustaine never got the boot. They would have never made it anywhere bdcause they would hsve bedn too busy smelling their own farts. I still listen to everything up to AJFA but it just pisses me off that a good band ended up where they are now because they got popular. They are the epitome of sellouts.

#1. Ironhorse is kick ass
#2. Metallica's Black album is kick ass too.

Carry on.

I've been a Metallica fan since day one, back when they were considered "thrash" and even the metal guys thought you were weird for "listening to that shit"!! :qh:

They're definitely not the same, and I too have a hard time relating to much after AJFA, but when the Black album came out,...
It was good! And, it still is,...it's just not the same.
I can appreciate some of the stuff after that, but it's just not the same...
Just a quick little FYI, I read somewhere that "Of Wolf And Man" was inspired by James' new hobby at the time...duck hunting.
And, props to him for doing the narration voice for "The Hunt" when every other "celebrity" distances themselves as far as they can from what we do.

As far as their new shit, I'd say this is probably my favorite, and I really like this video.
Based on the "Tunguska" incident which has always kind of fascinated me anyway.
